PyHydro
A simple hydro code with a python backend. Mostly this is just to play around with ideas for rapid prototyping and so forth.
To Do
- create bitbucket repo
- sketch out structure
- add pencil derivatives in numpy
do FFT based spectral thingy with pygsl (or scipy, or djbfft)
- try to f2py the pencil derivs for speed
- think parallel early
- write sample scripts
- construct flowchart of evolution of single timestep as well as entire simulation
wrap into a ETS gui?
Spherical harmonics
Spherepack from NCAR
PySpharm a wrapper of Spherepack in python
