Zooming in on Turbulence
The main purpose of this project is to determine how quickly turbulence fills in newly available small scale k space after data is regridded.
Chris conjectures that it will take a small-scall crossing time, t ~ 1/kmin*urms(kmin) to establish itself.
I conjecture it will take a large-scale crossing time t ~ L/urms, where in this latter case, urms refers to the RMS velocity in the box as a whole.
